Dhanush sweeps both Best Actor and Best Singer in " Film Fare Awards" 2012

Dhanush wins Best actor and Best singer awards at 60th Idea Filmfare Awards (South) - 2012 

Dhanush won the prestigious  Filmfare awards for the year 2012 in both Best actor and Best singer category  for his lead role in the movie "3" and for his global super hit song "why this kolaveridi?" from the same movie.

The movie which has been actually directed none other than by his wife Aishwarya Dhanush herself. Who is also the daughter of Super Star Rajnikanth.

The delighted actor has tweeted in his official Twitter page lately saying that,

He also won the National Film Award for Best Actor and also the Filmfare Award in the same category for the movie Aadukalam in 2011.

In the same year, he received international attention with his popular song "Why this Kolaveri Di". The song was a huge hit all over the globe.
